This liquid layer sampler is especially suitable for sampling and accurately visualising layers in deeper containers, basins, monitoring wells with a diameter of more than 38 millimetres. This is possible thanks to the transparent sampler made of PTFE and stainless steel.

Description

This translucent PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and stainless steel sampler is especially suitable for sampling and accurately making  the layers visible in deeper containers, basins, and monitoring wells with a diameter exceeding 38 millimetres. The sample can be transported without disturbance in the transport tube. 

After sampling, the thickness of the sludge- and floating layers can be measured, as, in the translucent tube, these are visible in the original position and thickness. The PTFE tube can be cleaned easily and effectively.

Please note that the cable-operated liquid layer sampler can not be used in thick, viscous fluids.
