Submersible pump set used for the purging and sampling of monitoring wells to a depth of 295.2 feet (90 meter) and an inside diameter of 1.9 inch (50 millimeter) and up. The Redi-Flo2/MP 1 is compact and easy to install and is supplied on a reel.
The PFAS-Free* MP 1 / Redi-Flo2 submersible pump is specially designed to ensure that the sampled water is not contaminated with PFAS coming from the equipment used for PFAS-free purging and sampling of monitoring wells. All wetted components have been replaced with PFAS-free materials and tested in accordance with EPA Method 1633, making this pump ideal for compliant groundwater sampling if PFAS is the goal parameter.
Our PFAS-Free* pump is the only submersible pump in the world that can lift water up to 90 metres above water level within a well with a diameter as small as 50 mm (2 inch).
This pump can be supplied with a PFAS-Free tube, pre-installed (30, 60, or 90 m) or without tube.
Normally a pre-pumping procedure takes place before samples can be taken. The high capacity of the pump allows for fast purging of the measuring point. By reducing the flow of the pump, it is possible to use the same pump for sampling. The stainless-steel housing ensures corrosion resistance and prevents sample contamination.
The pump motor is controlled by an adjustable frequency converter. Thanks to variable frequency settings, the pump's capacity can be adjusted from 0 to 2 m³/hour depending on the groundwater level relative to the ground surface. This results in a steady flow of anaerobic water.
The frequency converter is equipped with built-in safeguards that protect both the pump and converter against overload. The actual frequency is shown on a display. The frequency converter is programmed by us and ready for use right away.
