Grab samplers are used for taking disturbed samples from the bottom of lakes, rivers, etc. Various designs can be supplied that are cable or rod operated. This instrument is suitable for sampling in soft sediments, free from debris and plant growth.
The water bottom sampler has been specially developed by Royal Eijkelkamp for taking soil samples from water bottoms. Most of the sets are suitable for undisturbed sampling of soils under water.
Sampling suspended sediment has several applications: analysis on chemical, biological, bacteriological, thermal and mineralogical aspects. The sediment transport in rivers and other waterways can also be measured. We have developed a range of samplers to obtain the most reliable data for each analysis.
