Our Compact Crawlers are designed to ensure access to even the most restricted and difficult to reach sites whilst being easy to transport and operate.
The Royal Eijkelkamp Compact Crawler CC 200 is the perfect solution for CPT projects where access
and manoeuvrability are crucial. Its compact dimensions allow operators to access locations that
are out of reach for most rigs. This includes narrow plots between buildings, confined urban job
sites, and even indoor areas accessible only through standard doorways. Despite its small footprint,
the CC 200 delivers a powerful 200 kN pushing capacity. Its stable four-anchor setup ensures stable
penetration and reliable CPT data in challenging soils.
Due to its compact size the crawler can be delivered to site in a standard van, or even a very small trailer, making it perfect for use in urban areas and even reducing mobilisation costs. Once delivered to site this stand alone unit can be driven between testing points under its own power.
Reaction force necessary for the CPT is generated by installing four ground anchors which are screwed into the ground with the rotary head mounted on the crawler.
Detachable pusher
Where crawler access ends, the work can continue. The CC 200’s detachable CPT pusher can be
anchored directly to solid floors, allowing CPT testing in basements, industrial halls, tunnels, and
other restricted spaces where equipment cannot be driven. The pusher is connected via hydraulic
hoses to the crawler as an external power unit. This gives operators the ability to obtain accurate
CPT data in previously inaccessible locations and achieve penetration depths that smaller solutions
cannot match. The CC200’s compact mobility and flexible setup let you cover more sites and deliver
reliable CPT results in places other rigs can’t reach.
Short-stroke and long-stroke versions
To suit various working environments and operator preferences, the CC 200 is available in two stroke configurations. The short-stroke version offers a 550 mm stroke, making it ideal for low‑clearance areas and indoor CPT work where overhead space is limited. For projects requiring higher efficiency, the long-stroke version provides an extended 1050 mm stroke, delivering faster penetration progress and greater productivity in open or outdoor settings. Both versions maintain full compatibility with the detachable pusher system and deliver the same reliable 200 kN pushing capacity.
